Belong

Its an awful feeling
Not to belong

Belonging is a deep need in the human soul
Probably because at some unthinkably core level, we know we are the lost children of God
We spend so much of our conscious and subconscious lives trying to make ourselves acceptable to our peers
In order to belong
To be part of a group

But my point here, is how much humanity belongs to God.
All humanity.
He made us.
All
And Christ Jesus paid for us
All.
At Calvary.

Everyone is twice-owned by God
But He doesn't force His ownership
He offers His love
And His Fatherhood

For Christ-followers
We are three times God-owned:
He made us; He bought us
And we gave ourselves to Him in response to His love and sacrifice.
Three-times owned
By the Most High God.
