My Hand in Yours

Adding more to evidence that the Lord was at work, not only in me yesterday but also in others,
I have had feedback
Quite a lot
All good.
His enabling has borne fruit in others as I had hoped and even expected.
Oh Lord!
To see what you can do with one encounter, one exchange, at "ground zero" of the heart!
Thanks for all the steps of this little journey.
May they just be the beginning of this new adventure in faith.

I was reminded today of Your words: "Because of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold."
And
"Perfect love casts out fear."

If these are the new words You are giving me, what an opportunity to see You at work!
Because there has perhaps never been the degree of lawlessness in South Africa as there is now.
I have heard in the last week of things that almost defy belief.
But Lord, Your love for the unlovable is evident.
You love me.
Our love would fall short because of our viewpoint: because of anger, resentment and fear.
Only Your love is perfect, perfectly unconditional.
It will have to be Your love in us for those.
So that it does not grow cold because we are afraid of the violent men around us.
Lord, will You show me if this is the next step for me?
I am willing, Father.
Trembling but willing. . . .
