Have you ever wondered why Mary did not recognize the risen Jesus in the garden early that Sunday morning?
And why His two followers on the Emmaus road (although not of the twelve, disciples nontheless who would have known Him well) did not recognize Him until He broke bread in His way?
It used to puzzle me so much
Until I came to this -

Maybe it is true that no one can know the risen Christ until He chooses to reveal Himself to them.
Not even His closest followers.
Maybe knowledge of the Risen Christ was then, and is now, by revelation alone.
